Restoring Hope Psychiatric Services

About Us

Our Incredible Practitioner

Renda Joy Holladay, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

I am a dual-certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience. My background includes caring for patients across the lifespan from birth through geriatrics. I have an extensive background working in primary care. However, for many years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I was limited to only treating anxiety and depression, as more complex mental health conditions were outside my scope of practice. With the lack of psychiatric providers and the need for mental health services, I knew I could make a difference. So, in 2020, during the pandemic, I returned to school to obtain advanced psychiatric training and a certification to be qualified to treat all mental health conditions.

Throughout my career, I have seen first-hand the pressure providers are under to focus on evidence-based medicine, yet as a country, people continue suffering from physical and mental health challenges more than ever. We as a profession have failed to identify and treat the root cause of these issues, and instead have focused on symptom management.

I am offering an integrative treatment approach with a holistic focus that includes medication management, therapy, supplements, lifestyle coaching, and more. By prioritizing root cause healing and providing appropriate treatment, I will help you achieve your goals and guide you to a place of physical and mental wellness.

I welcome each patient to a safe, trusting, non-judgmental environment where you are free to express your needs and personal goals of care. I provide high-quality, individualized treatment plans to meet each patient’s needs and help you reclaim your confidence, purpose, and joy. Building rapport with patients is one of my greatest strengths and I look forward to assisting you in your journey to better physical and mental health!
